Show and Tell Tuesday: School Picture Edition

I have quite a few blog posts in the vault, but I could not ignore Momfessional's School Picture Link up. Once I saw what was unfolding on the daily blog roll, I immediately texted my mom for a few gems of my own --- Introducing the Senior pictures...

Let's just take a moment here to talk about these pictures and the conclusions I've made over the years since 2001. These pictures were taken in 2001, which was the year before my Senior year began.

1- Please note the poof. Apparently the quality of a straightener was not as strong then i.e. no smoke, no immediate smell of scorched hair, and thus not as straight hair. I also did not understand the technique of a straightener and failed to flat iron in layers. Layers, people! You must straighten in layers!

2- The mid part is enough.

3- I methodically picked my outfits for Senior pictures. Somehow the tan tank with the garnet flower was my "top" outfit. I failed to realize my skin was the same color = pale. 

4- I was not the girl to peak during high school years and it all just go downhill from there. It's only gotten better with time. Can I get an amen? Aaaaa-MEN!
