I like St. Patrick's Day. I don't go out and drink my little life away. But I do wear green, and I try to make festive treats. This past Sunday in church I learned that St. Patrick was actually a great church planter in Ireland. I'm sure not many even know that. It was a first for me. But this is a section of one of His prayers.. and I was captivated. Simpy captivated.
Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
