Ramblings

This little o' blog of mine has taken quite the halt .. maybe halt was a bit too dramatic.  But I can be quite dramatic... however, for good measure, let's say "The blog has taken a pause." Pause is precisely right.  But a good pause, because I was trying to figure out life.  And when one is trying to figure out life stuff and where one should live, that is a good pause because nobody wants to be homeless, if they can help it. Am I right?

So in honor of the pause, I have just a few ramblings. Maybe more than a few, but ramblings - nonetheless.  PS- Just enjoy this not-so serious stuff for now.. It ebbs and flows.

Ramblings.
- I am not cut out to operate a tape gun and should never work for the UPS.  Point proven when trying to   tape boxes at work.
- I should not have stayed up and watched Juan Pablo and his surprise. There was no surprise. Nikki looks potentially to be brainwashed. And eeettt's not ok.
- The Easter Egg Cookie at Panera.  There is none that compare. Well no other shortbread ones that compare. Chocolate chip cookies are a whole other ball game.
- I have been wanting one of those daggum Shamrock shakes from the McDonalds for at least 3 years.  It's time to give in folks - Time to give in.
- March. It's one of my most favorite months of the year. Next to May, of course - for those obvious reasons.
- When the roommate texts you and asks "Guess who's coming to town?", you don't say Santa Clause!  You say "BEEENNNN REECCCTTTOORR!!" And you proceed to do a little ditty of a dance for the entirety of the apartment complex to see.
- I typically get mad when I drive the long haul to Mebane and return empty handed.  Translation: I drove 45 min out of my way to get to these outlets, and ya'll had nothing to offer a girl who was ready.  Except for some Ben & Jerry's icecream.  End translation.
- When any of your social media accounts are dominated by more selfies and less others, there's a situation there. I don't even think I need to spell it out.
- Running through the historic part of Wake Forest is one of my favorite things to do.  Some may like to yard sale. Some may like to hike.  Some may even like to sit perched up in a coffee shop. Me? I like to run through Wake Forest.  And it's the best.
- I have my heater on right now in this little corner office.  It's nothing shy of 78 outside.  And I have a heater on.
- Easter candy sucks me right in.  It's like a crazy addiction and abusive relationship.  I keep going back for more.  I'm beginning to think it's the pretty little pastels.  Tricky Easter.  Tricky.
- FRIENDS. It's my Cheers. It's the place where everybody knows your name. And you know there's - Ross. Monica. Rachel. Chandler. Phoebe. and Joey.
- And finally.  Everyone has their married man crush.. well at least the girls do.  We're talking the likes of Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaghey.. you know those sorts.  For me, right now - it's Jase.  Jase, as in, long beard and camo pants - Jase.  Duck Commander.  I don't even know why.  It just is.

My friends, those are the ramblings.  And to ramble just a bit more.. Thanks for reading.  I don't know who you all are.  But someone's reading the blog.  I write for myself but am happy that you're taking a look -- even all over the world.  Cracks me up.  I don't know you .. but hey!

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasureably more... To HIM be the glory." Ephesians 3:20
