Life Goes On... Da da da da da .. Life Goes On.

So I thought it may be quick and necessary to update on my life:

The Lord has been good and faithful to me over the past couple of days! I am so thankful for the things He has shown me.  For a bit I have been thinking about joining the Mboro church plant with the Summit and was praying specifically for affirmation from believers in my life.  No one was really giving me a "Oh this is for you! God has this for you!" response. So not that it was a no from anyone, but it wasn't a total yes.  Tuesday I told both Amanda and my mama about my decision and just was not completely at peace. BUT Wednesday I got Amanda's prayer card in the mail; she had written all about how thankful she was that I had decided to stay in Raleigh and be patient. Not that she knew Nashville would be a never, but it was not right now, and she was just glad that I was waiting. - Tears - Then I talk to Rachael about the trials of Job. We were just discussing away, and in that time I realized that my thoughts for Mboro were really more so because nothing else was going on in Raleigh, so why not join!?! Why not? It's not a complete and solid commitment to the team and the work God has for Mboro.  It was as if in that moment everything was clear!  Also in my thinking, I realized that the Summit is not my church, and I would like to be planting out of my church body that I've been committed to for the past 4 years.  I am thankful and excited for the work that City Church will be doing in Mboro! My role in this plant is to be praying for them constantly, and I am content in that.  Later, my mama tells me that she just thought this wasn't the right timing for me to go to Nashville, but she knew it would come in God's time. -Tears-
My greatest "Aha" moment of the week: I read these in a commentary - "Discontentment and impatience charge God with folly." For the past 9 or so months, my extreme impatience has been charging God with folly/being a fool/ not knowing what He is doing. What sin was exposed in my life! - Tears - Thankful for His grace!

Now for the lesser things of life...
American Idol Pick: Paul McDonald. Nashville.. Hello!?! And he's cute..
The Bachelor: Emily's hometown date just stole my heart. Basically she just told Brad, my daughter is a part of my life. Get over it. If you want to be this relationship, she will always be upstairs. Emily is confident and has a "take it or leave it" attitude.  PS- I get too emotionally involved in this show.
