Summer is officially here! And by officially, I mean I think our pool is finally open. I certainly realize the 21st is all the jazz of summer; however, I'm such a sunshine girl and it's blazin' hot in these parts which most nearly indicates SUMMER! Soon it'll be July 4th, and then everyone will start dreaming of their cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes - Not. This. Girl.

Summer is good. It's magical. It's supposed to slow me down. It's all of my childhood memories. It's the nights where darkness shows up to the party super late, and I love it. In celebration of summer, I'm making a list of things I want to do - Things to keep summer.. as summer.. for as long as I can.

Catch a firefly or two because it's been years.. literally.

Make a splatter paint shirt.

I want to get on a slip-n-slide so bad that I just can't stand it.

Denver to see Lauren, Selah and Adrian.

Homemade popsicles.

Homemade icecream.

Eat outside at restaurants as much as possible.
Seeing J would be quite nice!

Time at the pool.

Friends over for simple dinners.

Kool-aid and lots of it because that's what summer is all about!

I near had a moment in the Walmart Monday night when I discovered Sharkleberry Fin Kool-aid was back. I almost screamed with excitement. Yes, that is true as can be. This was my favorite flavor in the day.. wayyyyy back in the day. I contemplated snagging the whole box, but with my sharing heart decided it'd be best that I only took 5. I held onto those things for the remainder of my trip in the Walmart. And to my great delight, I saw Wednesday that Lowes has the new flavor as well. Boom.
