Just a Few Things

You know... just a few things for your Tuesday.

I'm excited to announce that I have decided to start a Testimony Tuesday here on the little blog.  The idea came from Kelly over at Kelly's Korner.  I'm a faithful reader and know all about her kids.  That's probably a little too involved.  Anyhow I thought this segment was worth spreading to the locals.  Starting next Tueday, I will be featuring a different frannnnnddd (friend) and their testimony.  This will hopefully be an encouragement to folks and hear about others in my life rather than learning all about mine!

I was able to catch just a small amount of the Today show this morning.  I'm a Matt Lauer fan, what can I say?  But they have gone all crazy and started this social media segment trying to be relevant. (Um second time I've used segment in one post.. cray)  They could do without it, but this morning they were reporting some results from a survey #WhereIStand.  It was a political views survey.  The New American center, which according to this poll is neither liberal nor conservative, believes Obama and Oprah Winfrey to be the most trusted people in the US.  And well all said, "Really!?!"  It's 6 hours later, and I'm still strugglin'.

Lastly, I am very much so looking forward to spending time with some lovely ladies this week and weekend.  The days are jam packed. Just. How. I. Like. It.  I am fortunate that God has placed beautiful women of the Christian faith in my life, and I am thankful for the minutes I get to spend with them.  I am also very thankful that Shonica David likes Duke basketball as much as I do and agreed to drive down the little interstate to go with me to the Countdown.

  1. Frannnnddd... NBC = Liberal; therefore, any poll they discuss on their news shows should be taken with a grain of salt.

P.S. Matt Lauer is like CEO of their Liberal agenda... beware.

  3. Well whether it's liberal or not.. The struggle is to believe that people (regardless of who they are) think this.
