A few thoughts before the weekend. Next week I promise to start a series about lessons I've learned from Elisabeth Elliot. I love her stuff and have read 5 books now. Priceless knowledge and wisdom from a wonderful Godly woman. So as they say at the end of a really good TV show..  "Stay Tuned."
But for now:

The Cruise has finally been booked! - First cruise ever! I'm leaving June 16th and will be back the 19th. Going to the Bahamas with Devon, Katie, Lindsey, and Courtney - all are friends from SC :)

Last night I got the chance to head out to North Hills for beach music with Lauren and Shonica. The Band of Oz was playing, which I love! It finally felt like summer - what I've been waiting for! I think my favorite part of the evening was dancing to "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. Definitely not beach music, but I was able to "dance dance dance dance..."  What a wonderful time with some wonderful ladies!

This morning I was much excited to wake up to the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block being on the Today Show. Two of my favorite things in one!  It took me back to 1999, and I just sat there with a smile on my face. I love that my mama texted me and said "Isn't one missing!?" Yes, she knows what's up when it comes to the Backstreet Boys!

And last but not least.. I am going to Prague! Bay Leaf will be taking a trip in October. I told Billy, our College and Singles Leader, that I would go. I was unsure if I would be able to get the time off from work. But God is sovereign over that- and I can officially say as of 11:02 AM that I AM GOING TO PRAGUE! I have been wanting to go on a mission trip for a while now. And this seems to be my time! - Thankful.

PS-- Real Quick Goal Update: Applied for one job today. Will run a long run tonight with Lindsay. And bought healthier items last night at Target. - Trying... hahaha
