Christmas With A Cause

This year Allison and I hosted a Christmas Party with a Cause.  It's easy to get caught up in the commercial part of Christmas.  I thought a Christmas party with a cause for others would be a little better... Last year, I hosted one where everyone brought little gifts that nursing home residents could use.  This year I wanted to do something a little different.  Allison was able to find a family at her school in need of Christmas present assistance.  There was also a staff member who is planning to adopt their first son very soon.  Guests of the party brought gifts for both families.  It was a huge success!  There were lots of presents.. and equally lots of yummy foods! Thankful for this little opportunity!
